The Olympics in Beijing certainly put a spotlight on sports so why not go with the flow and visit the China Sports Museum. Greeted by a huge dragon boat at the entrance, you will dive into the history of Chinese sports within six different halls.
A whopping 5,000 years worth of sports are recounted by the exhibition of cultural relics, photos, paintings, trophies and medals. The journey takes the visitor from ancient times to imperial China, on to modern times and ends with the sporty achievements since the foundation of the People’s Republic.
